Dear Melissa, thank you for facitating a lovely day for the girls. That night my daughter was very comfortable in giving an overview of the day to our
Last night I had a dream that symbolised the end of something. I woke up to a new beginning. It is the start of the new school year (after 7 weeks of summer holidays) and this is the time when I start my year, in a way.
I start in my office, catching up with colleagues, clients, making appointments, sending emails, preparing for workshops. During this, there is a knock at my door. It's my neighbour, we exchange freshly picked sugar plums and pears from our garden with a couple of boxes of hand-me-down clothes for my son. Back to my office, there's another knock at the door; it's the wife of my husband’s sailing companion and a good friend, we exchange boat related bits. A bit more office work, followed by a phone call; its Cath who lives at our farm and watches over our sheep. “The sheep have got out” she tells me, so I pull on my leather boots and hat to go and catch our sheep and mend the gate. What a diverse day. What a beginning to my year! This is my life and I wouldn't have it any other way.

This Friday night is the next Women's Circle. This is an open invitation to any woman that feels called to connect and be with fellow women. Together we will share and be nourished by each other’s stories and weave this into our own feminine experience. Uniting with the menstrual cycle and its ebb and flow, which like breathing, occurs with or without our awareness. The more conscious we are of our cycle the more we can listen and understand the mysteries and lessons that it holds, much like the mysteries that are hidden behind our night-time dreaming. Understanding and deepening our awareness of our cycle connects us to this mystery of what is lying behind the symptom or emotion and when sharing what we feel comfortable to share within a group connects us together in this experience as women.
This Friday, Melissa will speak about the major gateways of being a woman and the importance that these are recognised and honoured. What are they and why are they important and how do they affect other areas of our lives.
